Règlement européen sur l'IA (AI Act)
Recommended action
Evaluate your AI systems' risk levels now and adjust your processes to meet legal requirements before 2025. Refer to the European Commission's guidelines for GPAI models.
The EU Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) is the world's first comprehensive legal framework for AI, adopted in 2024. It categorizes AI systems by risk level (unacceptable, high-risk, limited-risk, or minimal-risk) and sets specific obligations for each category, with a phased rollout from 2025 to 2027.
What it changes
You need to assess the risk level of your AI systems to comply with the relevant obligations (documentation, evaluation, transparency). General-purpose AI models (GPAI) face dedicated rules, while unacceptable-risk systems are banned.
