Transparence des systèmes d'IA générative (AI Act art. 50)

You must integrate machine-readable metadata tags into your synthetic content and consistently inform users when AI is being used. You’ll also need to provide technical documentation to prove compliance.

The AI Act, under Article 50, requires clear disclosure when users interact with generative AI systems. It also mandates labeling synthetic content (images, audio, video, text) to enable detection and traceability, particularly for deepfakes, to combat misinformation.

For businesses and professionals, this means implementing automatic labeling mechanisms for AI-generated content and displaying visible notices when users engage with AI. These obligations apply as soon as generative AI systems are marketed.
